Wish I could help Gee but I have forgotten most of the BFG rules. But I am keen to get my Tau fleet out as well :)

This is what I am looking at ordering, is this correct? Do I have to many or to little of anything?

4X WARDEN GUNSHIPS (sold in packs of 4)
3X EMISSARY CLASS STARSHIP (sold in packs of 1)
20X BARRACUDAS (sold in packs of 10)
16X MANTAS (sold in packs of 8)
1X CUSTODIAN (sold in packs of 1)
6X CASTELLAN CLASS ESCORT (sold in packs of 3)
4X PROTECTOR (sold in packs of 2)

Before you suggest, I'm not amped on proxies.

You might want more Warden Gunships. I am going to try dig out some old lists and have a look at what I used

No, on second thoughts that lists looks very good. I recon you can make 2000 points easily.
It is recommended that you always take 3 Wardens per Custodian. So you are good there.

I get 1820 points (of ships) with that. With Kor'O and Aun'O, probably a 2000 point fleet.

Emissaries seem to come 2 to a pack, so you'd wind up with 6 instead of 3. That gives you 1930 points and 2 useless models.

12X WARDEN GUNSHIPS (sold in packs of 4)
4X EMISSARY CLASS STARSHIP (sold in packs of 2)
20X BARRACUDAS (sold in packs of 10)
16X MANTAS (sold in packs of 8)
1X CUSTODIAN (sold in packs of 1)
8X CASTELLAN CLASS ESCORT (sold in packs of 4)
4X PROTECTOR (sold in packs of 2)

That gives you 2240 points worth to fiddle with (excluding the one Warden w/o an open hook).

Hmmm from what I've read elsewhere, you're right the Castellan is indeed sold in packs of 3, not 4 (as it says on FW). My bad! This may be due to the fact that they work in squadrons of 6. But the good news is that it does seem the Emissary is sold in packs of 2. Which makes sense as it's only statted at 110 points and the Protector also comes in packs of 2.

Damn, severely tempted to get some BFG Tau now too...

The fruits of my labours are finaly paying off were starting to get some momentum behind this game all we need is two more players to start with dark eldar and regain a necron player and I think we'll have all the races covered.

Just need to push Da Rur Kar to start playing his orks and we're sorted.

I'll look into hosting a tourney in a couple of weeks with prize support.

What size fleets? I may be willing to take Necrons for a spin but DE are seriously lacking in the big ships dept.

Will want to do both raids and battles so we'll be looking at 600 pts for raids and 1200 pts for battles.

I don't know weather you have a necron fleet lampyridea but their ships a high piont cost so if your interested in getting a fleet look at around 1500 pts which shouldn't set you back too much money wise.

If you do a GW order let me know.
