Necron Fleet

Postby Kornpatch » Sat Dec 22, 2012 2:24 pm

So I was recently looking this up and it seems like a good idea, i did do some reading up and i know i got to download the stuff from gws website and what not, but i want to know if its worth it, i really dont know anybody who even plays 40k, i could imagine that BFG is way more expensive than 40K and atm im still getting the hang of 40k, so is it logical for me to get BFG and if it is where would i buy Necron space craft in midrand area.

BFG should be cheaper than 40k really. You don't need nearly as many models. The biggest issue is getting hold of the ships. There is nothing to be found locally so you have to order them online. You can get directly from GW http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/armySubUnitCats.jsp?catId=cat490025a&rootCatGameStyle=specialist-games and Forge World make some additional ships - but nothing for the Necrons as far as I can see.
There are a few players in JHB that play BFG so you will be able to find opponents. I have a Tau fleet and the Imperial and Chaos ships from the box set.

You can find some at The Underground by Northgate - they definitely had Necron ships in when last I looked.
