Once ICON is over and from the 22nd of July or the week thereafter I will be starting to play some BFG.... Put Fantasy on the back burner as Im not going to Nationals this year.

Put a few plans together already...

Asteroids being put together along with some planets, gas clouds and 2 Tables 120cm*120cm made from Masonite painted black with white specs for stars and we can get Rockin and Rollin or in BFG terms engaging enemies at Sector 7.

Hey there we go BFG Sector 7 (Rapid Fleet Engagement) Games.... its got a nice sound to it.

Cheers

DaImp wrote:I have been going through the Tau Fleet book, and I am going to need some help in setting up a fleet. I just don't have the experience or game knowledge to know what I am doing! ;)

I am thinking of something along the lines of:
1x Hero class
1x Messenger class
2x Defender class
4x Orca

which comes to 420 points.

Just remember you are limited to 2-4 Capital Ships and Squadrons...
So its a minimum of 2 Ships or Escort/Squadrons or a combo (therefore 1 Ship + 1 Squadron) to a maximum of 4 Ships or Escort/Squadrons or a combo.

Your composition is correct:
1 Capital Ship and 3 Escorts/Squadrons

I will just bring what I can to the club and make up a list on the spot :) I suspect it won't matter too much what I bring initially untill I learn what each ship can do.

Ah BFG, what a great game.

At some point in the near future (hopefully), I'll be able to start coming on Wednesdays again.

A have I think a 3000 point imperial armada along with that forgeworld battle station (for campaigns) that will be more then happy to take on all comers....

"Admiral Balthasar, there have been reports of activity out in the east quadrant"

"Send a scouting party and prepare the fleet"
I spend most of my money on Warhammer and games, the rest is just wasted.
