Dark Heresy Warhammer 40K Role Playing

Postby Baldrick » Mon Jun 30, 2008 2:46 pm

Hello all,

Anyone played the new Warhammer 40K RPG: Dark Heresy?

Since Black Industries went belly up, its literally impossible to get a copy of this RPG (maybe on ebay). So, I was just wondering if anyone got a chance to purchase a copy, and/or if anyone had actually played any games/scenarios/missions, and how was the game play?

Yours thankfully

Sarel and Ronald have copies of this [I think] at least. Marco, Danie, Fabio, Sarel and ronald have all played a couple of games with the rulebooks present....

the rulebooks are still available, as Fantasy Flight Games now publishes it. Yeah, we played it, and its a slightly (only just ;) ) better system than WFRP

Hello Danie,

Yes, but FFG does not sell the Core Rule Book, only the Purge the Unclean, and the Inquisitors handbook, which I am sure are both pretty useless without the Core Rulebook?...........................correct?

They will soon sell the core rulebook.

They're something terribly satisfying about personally murdering the enemy wizard-general. Wracking them is cathartic, like squeezing a great big stress ball, except you're strapping it to a massive metal religious icon and it's screaming. -cryptomancer
