Saw that did you?

Will you even use warders now?

I suppose they still dont die, just can't hurt anything high armour

I find their Change to wardens distrubing and I am not happy. Everything else I am ok with
I spend most of my money on Warhammer and games, the rest is just wasted.

I think the change is reasonable, the Warders are now worth their points and not crazy as before.

I think it's a shame the nerf came so late now that many trollblood players have bought a second unit of Warders that is just not viable anymore.

Yeah now that it has had time to set in and I have seen post errata warders on the table, still hand out a good whip down. It seems okay, harsh for the troll player, better for the game.

the rest of the errata is also fantastic

My only issue is the timing - this could have happened 6 months ago, before half the trollblood community jumped on the bandwagon and bought a hole lot of models that they now have no use for (second unit of warders, 11 lights for EE...)

I find the EE change while a good one to be quite poor on PP. that was a tier list they introduced to the game that required significant investment and then subsequently broke afterwards. They should have done more testing before releasing it or correcting it sooner

Yeah I think overall that the errata was really good for the game.

I'm not sold on the idea that the changes to EE could have come sooner or been any different. EE as an option was around for at least a year before the list became big on the international (read USA) tournament scene, so to expect PP to pick up on it with far less man power or time to test seems quite harsh. Also, so people bought 11 lights and now can only play 9? Seems fine to me. Nothing stopping you from switching the light loadout of the list or playing a larger points game. We all have models that sit on the self just to be used in niche lists etc so this feels no different.

As for 2 units of warders, maybe there will be a new caster and/or solo down the pipe that will make playing both great again. Maybe not. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

My final 2c, maybe half the trollblood community jumping on the bandwagon was the straw that broke the camels back and forced this errata. We saw exactly that with Body and Soul. Speaking of which, as a cryx player I had an entire list of models completely invalidated in a larger way than any troll release has been in this errata imo. Sky didn't fall then so I don't expect it to fall now :)

very true lego man.

Without body and soul no sane Cryx player would ever spend money on drudges
