Potential new player to warmachine/hordes , have a few questions , Is there a local store that sells warmachine/hordes products? are there active groups in the tshwane area?

Store that sells it sadly no. Go to for all your needs.

There are a number of active players up there though, I'll see if I can get one in contact with you
I spend most of my money on Warhammer and games, the rest is just wasted.

I know this might sound a bit silly. But hold off getting into Warmachine/Hordes until after the 29th June. A new version of the the game ,MKIII (3rd edition), is set to be released on that day. So I wouldnt want you getting one of the current starter boxes when they will be changing, for the better, with the new rules.

Hope this makes sense.

As for local suppliers, there aren't really any that I know of. Sadly your best bet is Discount Games.

As for players in Tshwane, PM Joppie.....he is a local.

I do not know how soon the starter boxes will be available though, and I bet there will be a big demand one of the newer boxes.
We shall see, right now perhaps borrow a few models to see what works for you

We can get regular warmachine going if you join. . If we start playing regulalry, hopefully more people join. Maybe then even got enough for a league.
