Kings of War Vanguard

(I decided to post this in the main chat thread since there isn't really a section for it elsewhere. Hope that is okay.)

Mantic Games (makers of Kings of War & Deadzone) are kickstarting their new skirmish level game, Vanguard, and I'm a little-bit tempted. So I was wondering if anybody else is considering this or has pledged already? With all the stretch goals and such, and being backed by an established company, it seems a good deal, but a minis game is also only as good as the community of players you can build around it, and here in Durbs we're doing our best just to get people to consider Infinity and SAGA, nevermind Kings of War, Warmahordes etc. So if I did pledge it would really be with a mind to only getting to play with them very occasionally, and more towards when I move to CT again.

TLDR: Are you interested in Vanguard at all, to the point you have or might pledge during the current kickstarter campaign?

For anybody interested in looking at the campaign: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/17 ... escription

it looks very good and there's a lot of playtesting being done on the mantic forum. the models look good too.

That said, i haven't backed it, but i'm confident they'll hit their stretch goals.

I am basically waiting till it hits retail. Then I will get involved. I don't need to buy more miniatures to play it, only interested in the rulebook and would prefer to buy that through local retailers.

Does make sense if one has a good minis and terrain collection. I'm chiefly interested for the terrain and the nightmare faction, but I'm also kinda holding off till the last 24-hours, since I don't really need more minis, and I'm actually just being greedy for stretchgoals.
