Hi,

Moving to Western Cape from USA, going to be living near/around Hermanus/Onrus River.

Play 40k as Deathwatch, also have run D&D campaigns that have lasted multiple years. Interested in getting in contact with folks before I show up in the next month...

Hello!

Some friends and I are currently starting up a Necromunda(2017) campaign in the Southern Suburbs area around Cape, PM me if you're interested. I'll post in some other threads here too.
We also do some D&D occasionally, and various other tabletop board games.

You can do so already Kevin,
just your first post needs to be approved before you have full access to the forum :)

Hi everyone

My name is Ashley. I am a college student who's been playing 40K for about 6 months now, running a camouflage themed Deathwatch. If you see a guy in Cape Town with camo pants on, its probably me :P

I like the idea of playing more narrative-driven games, but with the lack of friends who play 40K (I have one friend who has Tau but has never played) and the time demand of college I haven't been able to play many games. I play tournaments as a way to learn and meet some pretty cool people.

Hi there all,

At long long last an avid gamer (well, rule reader anyway) finds like minded folks in SA. Right, I am residing in Edenvale and today I discovered this forum after years and years of rule reading. My interests in terms of gaming includes Battlefleet Gothic (have pretty much all the rules etc.) and sci-fi space wargames (Full Thrust etc.) Non GDW games I have and itches to play is Naval Wargames such as Command at Sea, Fear God & Dreadnought; Shipwreck; Harpoon and any other naval stuff. I had 40k Epic a while back but several moves reduced the starter set to the rule books only.

Thanks people and cheers

Welcome Mike. Look for the Warzone club at the Jeppe Quondam which is near you. I am sure you will find many willing opponents there - I know there are several historic gamers who may well be interested in some naval games. Not much happening on the BFG front at the moment, although there are rumours of a new edition being released some day (we can only hope).
