Postby Vann Harl » Tue Apr 10, 2012 1:31 pm

Hello generals

Can we get a show of hands, who here is in the 'Wild Coast" area from George to Port Edward. every now and then I see people asking for clubs in the area and it would be nice to see where the activity is.

just put down your handle and area, name optional.

Greetings I recently moved back to ELN and myself and a freiend have been battling, excuse the pun, to find a club or even players???? There use to be an active group but it looks like it has disappeared or something? Is there anyone near by that is interested? There also doesn't appear to be any gaming shops that have stuff for sale around here, so if someone knows of some place that would also be a great help tx.

Hail LordSmurf,

ja it seems EL has gone real underground. what ever group used to be there split up and went off the radar. Although i've contacted an ex player from that side who has moved away I have yet to find any other contacts.

Myself and Kindred are slowley trying to build up recognisd groups between George, Hrahamstown PE and East London.

I'm part of about half a doz players here in PE. Lets keep in touch so we can grow our player contacts in the Eastern Cape

Okay,

an update from the grahamstown side, there is movement here, although it is primarily students. Generally in term time every wednesday night is game night. We have hit exams etc now so it is less formalised, but still happening as people want games.

Our biggest problem I suppose is that students (new and old) don't know wargaming is happening, we are getting it out there, but the number of people I speak to and hear they left armies at home etc is getting silly.
