In Pe, Vann Harl is your man :)

Once term starts again for the students I am hoping to organise a fun and friendly Games day, pretty much the idea being bring a list and your models and what else you need and we will see what we can sort out for everything else ... I need tyhe rest of the group back to finalise this.

And of course being students this will possibly end up in the pub at some point :) in fact I could probably organise that we can play in the pub :)

I agree with Pgre and Kindred, we do Option A with Option b. We should start exploring options :D

Hi All,

I am emigrating from the Isle of Man (UK) in September to Port Elizabeth. I'm happy I found this forum as I've been searching for fellow GW geeks. I play mainly fantasy and have Bretonnians, Warriors of Chaos, Tomb Kings and Vampires. I also have Dogs of War (which are illegal now) I have a small 40k Imperial Guard force (which I'll be looking to expand before I come down). I also play Necromunda, Blood Bowl, Magic the Gathering and Warzone (which no longer exists). I have two massive Warzone armies and would be happy to teach anyone it. I am a real old school player having started playing in 3rd edition warhammer (so I've been gaming since early 90's) so I've been around a bit. Ha, I even have Mighty Empires and Space Crusade!

One question, where do you guys get your stuff from?? I didn't think GW had a presence down in SA.

Hopefully I can meet up with some like minded fellows and we can have a game or 50 when I make it down.

Colin was in town this week and had pleasure of having a few beers and a game against him. We have a small group who play 40k here in Slum town. Would be great to somehow join up with different groups around eastern Cape. Sounds like there's a lot of talent.

Guys, go join the fb page i've created (link in my signature)

I have a website that is under development at the moment and what I would like to see is different "chapters" under one society called "Eastern Cape Warlords". Grahamstown Chapter, EL Chapter etc ( feel free to give your chapter a unique name.)

I'm going to use the website to advertise details of the clubs, but this forum will remain our main communication forum. The FB page is also a great tool for posting game and event happenings in your town and creating an archive of pics etc.

it's all about getting word out there that there are other players out there.

How many players do we have around EC? Is it worth trying to organise a EC regionals competition at some point?
You know those times when you wish you could think of something funny or interesting to say, but just can't... yeah, this is one of those times.
