New Kill Team stand-alone game - anybody played it yet?

Hi

As you guys may know. Kill Team is now its own stand-alone game set in the Warhammer 40K universe. I got hold of the rule book (electronic copy) and have read through it, plus I've watched some Youtube videos on it - it looks fun I love squad-level skirmish type games! Haven't played it yet though. Has anyone done so? I'd like to hear you impressions if so.

Yes, Sword and Board in Milnerton is running a league at the moment. I know some people are also playing at BBTV

I dont play 40K but played 2 games of kill team. enjoyed it enough to buy myself an admech killteam :D

I'm a long-time KT fan despite the traditionally bad 40k rulesets, but I'm liking the tweaks they've made to 8e for this Killteam release. My girlfriend and I have played a bit at home and have really enjoyed it. I was worried it would be a worse Infinity, but it scratches an itch Infinity doesn't with the looser rules and greater focus on over the top heroics and melee combat, so I'm hopeful that it finds long term adoption in ZA so I can keep finding opponents. ^_^

Love it. Had a competition at the batcave two weeks ago which went very well. Unseen shoppe is starting a three month campaign from tomorrow as well.

We've started a campaign at 3+ with a handful of guys. Enjoying it immensely

Great, glad that there seems to be a lot of interest in this game! I'll be playing my first game on Saturday, can't wait. I would love to get a campaign started down here in Somerset West
On another thought, If the admins are reading this, could be maybe get a sub-board started for Kill Team? That would help a lot, this whole conversation could be moved there once it's implemented.

Played 2 games, really enjoying it. I am in Somerset West as well.
Hoping the shop I play at in SW will start a campaign soon, interested to see how the leveling up and specialisms work out.

Just been playing at home, and have gotten to grips with the rules. Looking at joining a campaign soon.
It's a lot of fun, and the games are shorter than 40k games.

I can now report that I managed to get my first game in this past weekend. I enjoyed the experience, and that wasn't just because I won I will definitely be playing some more as soon as I can find more opponents. I'd love to get a campaign started
