Help with Army Painter paints.

Postby Hentai Lettuce » Tue Jul 11, 2017 2:44 pm

Hi all.

Yesterday I bought a few army painter pots.

My problem is that when I apply a coat of necrotic, flesh it just looks spread out and horrid after it dries. Did this on a base coat of black.

I notice these paints are very watery (even after a 1min shake).

Any tips or recommendation? Attached a pic of the problem.

How to start using your Army painter (or Vallejo!) paints:

1: Go to a bead shop
2: Buy a necklace of hematite beads that are about ~4mm in size
3: Go home and break necklace
4: Put a bead in every paint dropper
5: Shake dropper, now with an actual agitator in it

This reduces your chances of getting RSI from trying to just shake your droppers!

Glass beads also work. Don't use steel or copper BBs, or lead fishing sinkers, because they will oxidize in your paints any ruin them!

I once made the mistake of putting a metal agitator in a metalic paint.. who knew?

Awesome. Thank you for the assistance. That being said is there a quick safe method to remove the mess I have made on that model?
